Don't know where to start, I have eaten a lot of Sushi all over California and I have eaten sushi in every sushi restaurant in Santa Barbara and Shintori is one of the best or could quite possibly be the best sushi restaurant in Santa Barbara. The restaurant is small so if it's busy you should wait for a seat... More

Really enjoyed our meal here on a recent visit to Santa Barbara. It was very near our hotel so we decided to give it a try as most of the restaurants seemed to be further down State Street and we didn't fancy the walk. So glad we came here. Great service. The waitress was happy to recommend popular dishes and... More

I love this small restaurant right on the "main drag" in the San Roque area. Service is always excellent in a basic Japanese restaurant atmosphere. My girlfriend introduced me to the sushi dome which is a yummy alternative to the tuna roll or spicy tuna roll or handrolls I always order. The place has a sushi bar, a smaller window... More

My girlfriend was curious to eat sushi for dinner. She chose this restaurant because it was that with the best comments on tripadvisor and the closer to our motel. I have to confirm that the chose was amazing. The sushi that we tasted was very good and prepared on demand. The staff very nice. Even if the tables were all... More

My son lives in Santa Barbara and this is his favorite sushi place. It's quite small and often there can be a line, but it is worth the wait. The prices are reasonable. There is a large selection of different rolls. And a fresh local selection of sushi. Actually had Chicken Teriyaki and I was quite pleased. We sat at... More

Small restaurant with big flavor. This is our favorite place to go for sushi, I feel it's one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. I think you'll agree!

This little gem of a restaurant has amazing sushi and excellent Japanese fusion type dishes that are not only unique but incredibly tasty. It's a cozy restaurant that you can miss it if you drive by and blink but it is worth turning back. I love that they give you a bowl of steamed edamame while you wait for your... More

I'd say this is one of the favorites when it comes to sushi in Santa Barbara. The restaurant is very small (maybe 5 tables and the sushi bar?), so if you have a big party, I would not recommend bringing here. The sushi here is delicious and the place has a nice, casual atmosphere. (Tip: they also let you write... More

Some of the best sushi have had ever and really fast service when we visited. The restaurant it self is´nt the most cosy one but it kind of gives that little extra when the inside does not give you high expectations and they deliver great food!
