Ate there for dinner and ordered too much! Good variety and good value with the Bento combinations. My daughter and I order triple combinations but had enough food if we had ordered just the double combos. Really enjoyed the spicy tuna and the crunchy roll. Lots of other innovative dishes on the menu.

Can you imagine ordering a high end scallop role and it's served dismembered with the small bay scallops just poured on top? How about ordering a Zinfandel and you get a white zin? How about a mussel app with no sauce on it? Add a server who had no idea what she was doing. May sold her wonderful restaurant a... More

I tried it before they had all you can eat sushi and thought it was only okay. The All YOU CAN EAT sushi is amazing. You get to order three times from a huge menu of soup, sushi rolls, nigiri, salad, tempura. That means you can order five rolls, soup, salad, tempura and more for your group for each round.... More

There's no sushi place like May's. Unfortunately, we don't get to visit as often since we no longer live in the area. But we were in Santa Cruz on Saturday and naturally had to eat there. It's simply the best of the best of the best! No other way to describe it. Fast, good service, and delicious sushi and sushi... More

Although "known" for their all-you-can eat sushi, the restaurant offers a variety of other tasty foods as well. I had the bento lunch box with sushi, soup, rice, chicken teriyaki and a salad that was the perfect size and one of many assortments from which to choose. The staff is friendly, pricing good for the quality of food, although the... More

Nobody wants to eat gross, fishy, fish. Right? Right. You won't at this spot. Everything tastes fresh. May's has a beautiful, traditional restaurant and Sushi bar. The waitstaff is young and sweet. The sushi chef is a smiling yet serious fellow that creates dynamic rolls at the drop of a hat. I highly recommend the baked clams/mussels, the Dynamite Roll... More

Our family ate here after spending an afternoon at the beach. It was a sunday evening so the restaurant wasn't too busy. There were six of us and we ordered the all you can eat sushi. The quality was fairly good considering this is "all you can eat" buffet. We stayed really late till the restaurant was about to close.... More
