I would describe this as an eclectic bakery with a great vibe. The muffins are very tasty most are made with wheat flour. The Ham and Cheddar croissant was top notch My only grip was no public restroom. Otherwise a top notch spot.

Emily's is always a good idea. The coffee is delicious as is everything I have ever tried here. Many of the pastries are interpretations of those you might find somewhere in Europe but don't go in expecting you will have the same kind of experience with a croissant as you did in France. These croissants are huge, and usually filled... More

I've visited Emily's quite a few times during all my trips to Santa Cruz. Of course, this time was no different. I stopped in for red eye (coffee and espresso) and a breakfast burrito. I kept eyeing the pastries though... and sure enough before I left, I had to get one. I was not disappointed! Fresh made, buttery, flaky gooey... More

had sandwiches that were completely unremarkable. Even the foccia bread wasn't really good. The fruit pockets, however, were really good.

We stopped in for coffee and a pastry. The place was hopping, you could tell it was a locals favorite. Service was quick and friendly, my croissant was buttery and flaky and my son's lemon poppyseed muffin was lemony and sweet. They have seating inside but we got ours to go. They have a piano and a customer was playing... More

August 1st, 2009 we were cruising on our 12,000 km trip from Alberta to the Oregon coast down through California and over to Chicago and back to ontario. On this day we happen to hear about this quaint little bakery where we stopped for an AMAZING breakfast, but also was able to enjoy David Winters spectacular music! Would go back... More

Nice little bakery to grab a fresh baked scone, croissant or muffin. The smells of fresh baking are wonderful! Pre-made breakfast burritos that you warm yourself in a provided microwave are just ok. Would be wonderful if they had a few types of egg sandwiches made to order on the menu.

We usually go to Gayle's for pastries but it was so crowded we opted to just keep driving by. We were headed to Half Moon Bay for the day so we go on Highway 1 and saw the bakery as were driving out of town. The staff was very friendly and they do have a few tables inside and outside... More
