We had pizza delivered after a long day and we were very disappointed. Poor taste, rude employees and WAY overpriced.

It's a pretty good pizza for LA. Great crust, so-so sauce. Never got what the big deal is about. But it IS nice not to get a big slab of dough. It is better than the average pizza you'll find in LA, but doesn't hold a candle to East Coast pizza.

I prefer italian style pizza rather than the New York style. But we popped in and we were hungry. At first sight it's a typical pizza place great serves pizza by the slice. We weren't disappointed and it's as good as anything I've had in New York. I would highly recommend if you're not looking for Neapolitan or Roman style... More

We read an awesome review at the LA times about this place. It is a good pizza, mainly for delivery. You can also eat there... however, it was not THAT good.

Good local pizza, nice guys working there, not too much inside seating. Very reasonable prices for by the slice pizza- family of 5 stuffed for about $40 in SM!!

We needed a quick meal before going back to the car. This place served the purpose and we were happy with what we were served.

Small place, good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. If your taste in pizza runs to the national chains or you favor toppings like fruit, salad, BBQ sauce, etc and/or you are looking for fancy atmosphere, skip Joe's and please don't review it. If you want to save yourself a trip to the east coast or have a craving for "real"... More

We stayed at a hotel around the corner and visited Joe's a couple of times - gorgeous pizza and very friendly service. You can get a giant (and I mean giant!) pizza that left five of us absolutely stuffed for just $20! Brilliant!

Joes is the best, no....literally the best. Friendly guys, amazing pizza, and always satisfying. I never make a trip to SM with out a stop or 3 to the guys at Joes.

I stopped in and had a cheese slice and a sicilian cheese slice. The sicilian was one of the best I have ever had. The thin slice was just out of the oven and I scarfed it down while waiting on my sicilian slice. It was really great. I will be back.

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
