Joey's is located in a historic Victorian mansion near downtown. Eat in or take out. Joey's has it all from uptown options (for example, sara's blonde bombshell with Thai satay sauce, shrimp, pineapple, green onions and sriracha sauce) to originals with various meats and cheese. Pastas are on the menu along with calzones and salads and even burgers and subs.... More

We found this place by accident, got lost in a strange town at night. The house it is in was built in 1901 and one of three such houses in town to survive the Big One that hit Santa Rosa and San Francisco. It must be popular with the college crowd as we saw students take out about two dozen... More

We stopped in because of the location. The building is an old Victorian type on the corner which was intriguing. Then you walk upstairs to the pizzeria and it changes as you enter. They had parts of the floor blocked off and no one to ask where to sit. Finally we walked to the back to see what to do.... More

Tried Joey based on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. If you've had New York style pizza, this is as close to it as you'll find in Nor Cal. Great crust, delicious sauce and a large pizza is LARGE! Great value! I will definitely return.

The pizza at Joey's stands out as some of the best traditional pie I have had in a long time. Feeding 15 people at a moment's notice became an easy and economically painless task thanks to Joey's. The pies are quite good w/ a nice balance between cheese, sauce and crust. Ingredients are high quality. Delivery is cheap and the... More

While having a drink with friends at Gary's at the Belvedere we ordered a pizza and wings to be brought down to our bar table. Good but not great, I would not go here if not for being at Gary's. Crust thin and crispy but would not fold in half. Couldn't taste the cheese...aka could have used more. Wings were... More

I'm a local and love feeling like one when I come here (if you're in the neighborhood, ask for the neighbor discount). My favorite: walk down here from my house on 'date' night and get an antipasto salad and stud sticks to share with my BF. It's a lot of food for a great price. Love the ambiance of the... More

By the way this place is in Santa Rosa, Ca....not the Channel Islands! The pizza was just how I like it.....thin crust, light sauce and perfectly done! Service was terrible. Had to keep getting up to find our server. No utensils, no drink refills....no service. Would get it to go!

Thank Pingee
