On our way to Goldfield NV, we took a side road through Shoshone. And since we were hungry, we stopped at The Crowbar, the only place in town to eat. I can't speak for the other reviewers here but we had an excellent time. My vegetable burrito was very good, but my wife was not too excited with her fish... More

Dining options in Shoshone are limited to say the least, with the Crowbar as the only real possibility. We ate breakfasts, lunches, and dinners while visiting Death Valley for three days. Lunches and dinners were marginal at best due mostly to the sad sack crew working those shifts; they need a "come to Jesus" meeting or an invitation to move... More

Have driven by Shoshone several times over the decades and always said, "We should get sucked in here sometime and see how it is..." We finally planned to stop in. The meal was okay and the beer was cold and welcome. We visited with some young adults from Austria, took their picture together, and shared with them some places of... More

This place has terrible service. It was not even busy and the girl could not even bother to come over and bring a menu ask us what we wanted to drink. We went in before noon and she said she could not sell us a beer, we understood and said we would come back later and we went back and... More

Nice, tidy diner style place. Very friendly service. I had an excellent omelet. It is located on the 'most scenic' route from Las Vegas to death valley, according to the map you can download from the national park web site.

Great restaurant but pricey !! The Nachos where great and good value. Wings and fries where great! The children had a burger each and they where big and juicy and the fries where enjoyed ! Service was ok ! Not a busy place at all and it was nice to not be crowded !!

On the way out of Death Valley and stopped for lunch. Went into the sideroom and waitress seemed to not be happy about this, possibly because she was by herself. Ordered from menu and shortly received food. Was good except for rice mixed with tomato sauce - tasteless Sheriff office is net door.

When we entered this restaurant it was 11:45 am the place was half empty, we ordered two omelets but we were told that this was the lunch time so no more omelets. We then ordered one hamburger and one fajita, plus two iced the. 15 mns later my wife went to see the waitress and we finally got the iced... More

I stopped there after a my trip to the Death Valley. Had a good omelette, good portion, as well as a great vanilla milkshake. I stayed outside, it was quite windy but it was fun to be next to the old general store with old car and mining equipment. Worth a stop if you're around.
