We love to eat here before a show at the Belly Up. You can enter the show early if you eat at Wild Note, and have a better chance of finding a seat! Just be sure to make reservations way ahead if it's a popular show! I had the beef medallions with cheddar mashed potatoes and fried green beans. For... More

I went to Belly Up's in Solana Beach for a concert one evening after work and found their menu to be lacking. The staff pointed me to Wild Note Cafe (share a kitchen but separate establishment) and I went there for food prior to the show. This review is going to be short and sweet. GET. THE. PAELLA. Holy damn... More

We spent our last night here, sat at the bar. The food and serve were great. It's next door to a club. Had the burger and fries which was very good, my wife had the enchiladas. Had a wonderful time. A fun place with a lot of nice people

We've eaten here before and it never fails to please! I had the beef filet medallions, and at $20 they're a screaming deal! They come with cheddar mashed potatoes and fried green beans. Very filling. I also ordered a caesar salad to split with my husband. He had the dijon mustard crusted salmon, which was a little underdone, but he... More

Came by for a pre-game bite and hydration, and I’d go back as a standalone visit. Atmosphere – It is small but comfortable. Adjacent to the Belly Up so it made getting in to the show easy. We sat at the bar and it was easy for us to fit in the full bar. Service – Outstanding. They were packed... More

I had lunch with friends twice in the past week here. Both times were excellent! The Salmon salad with mango and jicama was excellent, as was the burger with sweet potato fries. The patio setting is great on a nice day. This is close to the Solana Beach train station and Cedros shops. Service both times was excellent, friendly and... More

I love this place! The food is delicious, the service is great, and it is very convenient, especially before you go next door to watch a show at the Belly Up tavern.

Four of us enjoyed dinner at Wile Note Café before The Marshall Tucker Band concert. The bartender and waitress were extremely friendly and attentive. Since they are used to people eating dinner before the concert, they are pretty efficient. My husband ordered the mahi mahi special that evening - it was good, but a little overdone. My Beef "Rad" Thai... More

Went to Wild Note Cafe before our recent concert at Belly Up. Food was very nice. Had a reserved table and had great service until after we only ordered appetizers...then when we wanted to order more wine...no server came back, no bill, no service. We split up and 1/2 went to get in line for the concert; finally got our... More

I had the caesar salad (with avocado)! It was very good and I heard the other food is good as well so I'll be back!
