One small cafeteria-like place they call a bistro, where the simple buffet breakfast was $28 per person, and for lunch one example would be three very small tacos for $15. In all, very simple food at a very steep price. I’m willing to pay for good food in a real restaurant at a nice Renaissance, but not in this place.

While staying at The Lodge at Sonoma we had breakfast for three mornings as part of a package. The breakfast menu had a nice variety of selections. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Presentation was wonderful, food was hot, and service was friendly and attentive. Omelettes, French toast and Eggs Benedict were excellent. A great way to start your... More

Brought here by friends who spend weekends in Sonoma, we had an excellent breakfast - I can't speak to other meals. We went for basics - classic eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros. There were plenty of more creative options, but we wanted to see how they did these. The eggs Benedict had very flavorful hollandaise (and plenty of it) and... More

The food was pretty good! The waitress was nice enough but the service was very slow. The menu is somewhat limited in choice but everyone at table happy with what they ordered!

At breakfast here on Friday, the Huevos Rancheros was very good, service was good and fast, connected to the hotel so easy access. A tad pricey though. $80 for two is a little over the top.

While dining here at Caneros I had the rack of lamb. It was nicely prepared and very moist. The resort was very busy and I expected the dining room to be noisy but it was pleasantly quiet. The next night I ordered the King Salmon which was equally as good.

We have stayed at The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance two times now. After long days of traveling from the east coast to California this was a welcomed dinning option for us. The food and service were great.

The food and wine selection at this upscale restaurant is amazing! I ordered ravioli appetizer and the crispy salmon. My friend order flat iron steak and Brussel sprouts (I will never be the same after tasting these). The restaurant was almost empty and service was a little slow. Our waitress apologized for this. Our food was perfectly prepared and delicious.... More

If your staying at the hotel or live locally, you don't have to go downtown for a fine meal. We sure like the plaza area but we can come here for a nice environment and food. We have only had brunch so we need to return for dinner and wine tasting. Food selections are typical for Sunday brunch and we... More
