The sour dough bread that adds to the sandwiches and soup bowls is the selling point for this place. The sandwiches of pulled pork and Jalapano needed a little more heat but the grilled cheese with bacon was really good. Their soup in the bread bowl is a touch of San Francisco. Parking is easy and free.

Nice bread and good selection of sandwiches. Sandwiches tasted just OK. Would not visit again as there are better places in the area where to buy sandwich es.

I love coming here for their soup in a bread bowl! Just like the SF locations without the long drive

I live for Boudin sourdough whenever I arrive in the SF area. I run to the closest location. Today we tried the Sunnyvale location. The bread as always is amazing. Got a loaf to go. Tried the spring salad with chicken. Amazing base of the salad with greens, apples, cranberries, spiced walnuts and balsamic with a garnish of of Granny... More

If you like San Francisco, real sourdough bread, you will like this place. It is small but has decent seating both indoors and out. Good sandwiches, soups and even a so-so burger tastes great on their sourdough! You can join their club and get a free loaf of bread each month. One small thing to watch out for...I had already... I've eaten at two other local Boudin restaurants. This location is smaller, but it wasn't crowded at 11:30 AM. Adequate parking. Service was excellent, and the food was well prepared. Fountain drinks are Coke products. Coffee is Peet's, but Boudin has recently changed from Peet's iced tea to Mighty Leaf. My favorite sandwich is the grilled brie, with fig jam,... More

I just moved to a location near this franchise. I was kind of hoping to find my "go to" breakfast spot. We went on a Sunday morning, before 11:00. The employee taking our order was so slow it was painful. We both ordered a bagel -- mine untoasted, my friend toasted. Both with cream cheese, but were given no knife.... More

My daughter took me here today for lunch and I was very impressed. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup and it was excellent. I liked the fact that once you order, they bring the food to you.
