Charming western motif restaurant. We did not have reservations & place was packed with an hour & half wait time. Suggested we could eat in bar area if table available - same menu. Only table open was large table in back of second room that was only used for banquets. They went out of their way to take care of... More

If this isn't the best place in town it will do. No reason to look for anything better. Its on the third floor of an old wood frame building (with elevator) off the main street in the old town section. You probably wont find it unless you are looking for this place in particular. The steaks are fantastic. When we... More

We went for dinner and it was worth it!@ Everything was perfect. We loved the wine as well. We had a super nice waitress. We were sat quickly and you could actually talk to one another as it was not loud!!!

I have been here twice in the past month and neither time was I disappointed. The service has been awesome both times. We sat inside in one of the large booths, which is quiet and more intimate. Second time we sat outside on the patio because it was such a beautiful night. Again, no regrets, and not that we needed... More

Great quiet place to get away for lunch. A little more upscale and nice atmosphere. Much more than what I expected.

Visited with friends on a busy Friday night. Our server, Shelly was great! She recommended the Brie and the Artichoke starter. From there, I enjoyed the Strip Steak which was awesome. A friend ordered the bone in Filet with the loaded baked potato- it was HUGE! But everything pales next to the most amazing desert EVER! I am a huge... More

Ambience of an upscale western saloon straight out of Temecula's history. Quiet, relaxing restaurant with unhurried approach - maybe a little too unhurried but not enough to complain about. It's located on the third floor so above the noise and crowds of Temecula's Old Town district. The menu is very interesting, with many "cowboy" chuckwagon touches. Prices are a little... More

A nice date night spot located in the Old Town Temecula location with tons of new rising hip restaurants, Gambling Cowboy remains a stable for the locals and tourists alike. Great ambiance, tasty crafted cocktails, and great steaks. It can be hard to get a reservation on the weekends, so be sure to reserve early. The service is 90% great,... More
