We just happened to see the restaurant while driving by and made a u-turn into the parking lot. I am glad I did; the waitress was super nice to us and the beer and food were excellent. I had the clam chowder and BBQ chicken...More

We'd arrived in the early evening having ridden our vespas up from the east bay. Tired and hungry we'd unwisely skipped lunch that day. The William Tell House came to the rescue serving up a plate of oysters, freshly baked bread, side dishes, and main...More

Sunday afternoon stopped in for the "best pizza in town" and it could not have been a better experience!!! The service and friendliness of the place was simply over the top and our pizzas were delicious - the plain cheese one is something everyone should...More

Historic building is very interesting. Service was very attentive. Their take on chicken marsala was unusual. Was basically a chicken breast, not a cutlet pounded thin. Sauce was flavorful but overly sweet. Came with a generous portion of veggies and a baked potato. BBQ pulled...More

Had dinner here recently. Food was fine. Good oysters, entree just ok. Service was ok to fine. Noticed that the locals received much better service. If i'd known how close we were to our destination, I'd have driven by.

We were so excited when we came upon this awesome little piece of history while traveling up the coast. It was early afternoon when we stopped so we didn't eat, but it smelled delicious and a great stop for the history lesson.

Very friendly and personable people run this place. Highly recommend! Home made cocktail sauce and bleu cheese dressing. Quirky atmosphere. Very enjoyable.

We had lunch here for the second time today, and the food is too good here to not write about. We live nearby in Marin County, and used to drive by historic William Tell House without knowing what a gem of eatery it is but...More

Stopped by here during a coastal drive. Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Bar was crowded. Mostly locals. Staff very friendly. Food, especially the oysters, was great.
