The pub grub had dropped from its previous high standard, but there have been changes and I can once again recommend the Britannia. There have been new faces at the pub including in the kitchen. There have also been changes to the food suppliers. The...More

Some positive points, more menu choices and slightly smarter decor, not quite the refurb we had hoped for. I had the chicken Caesar salad........sadly chicken and croutons tasted of cooking oil, not enough Caesar dressing, no Parmesan at all....plus addition of tomatoes and cucumber...which certainly...More

Came here after we could get in th Pilot due to no dogs rule. Excellent fish and chips and Shepherd Neame beer. Bit on the pricey side, but will return because of location.

Sunday afternoon visit to Dungeness. Proper, simple pub. Good Guinness and crab/lobster burger. A trip to Dungeness and a bit of lunch and a pint here is a good day to spend a day

Britannia Inn is "The Only Pub in Dungeness"! We are located in between two lighthouses in Dungeness and at the heart of Dungeness estates. It's a few minutes walk from "Dungeness Train station" of Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. If you drive, please follow the Dungeness Road, you will see a "Dungeness Borough" sign on the left before the white gate which is the entrance of Dungeness. Keep driving for a mile and pass the new light house on your left and we are just beyond.
