A good burger joint but the milkshakes are the best. Kids love it and they do have better then coffee shop food. Cute decor.

If you live in the area, go to Costco, buy Ruby's gift cards and save 20 percent. The burgers are consistently great as are the thin"bottomless" fries. The shakes are six bucks, but they are worth it

I love Ruby's! Perfect burgers and shakes or malts. Get a cherry or vanilla or chocolate Coke ummm. It is a little expensive but so worth the price. They also have breakfast and dinner.

We arrived after 7pm so had no problem being seated immediately, in fact, we weren't even settled into the sticky vinyl bench seats of the booth when a waiter appeared asking for our order...... we didn't even have the menus in our hands yet. We subsequently ordered a Caliente turkey burger, a Turkey Cobb burger, a Ranch burger, 2 vanilla... More

This place is amazing ---- from the time you walk in, you go back in time. The seating is 50's, the food is what we loved as kids. The malted/shakes are out of this world and you get all of it (glasses filled and the shaker still with drink) like we got at the soda fountains of yesteryear. The burgers... More

I like Rubys overall. The service was ok. Get their burgers. Shakes are also very good. If you didn't know it was on the corner, you could miss it. Would definitely go back.

Food was good, hamburger way overpriced. Server was very in-attentive. Couldn't get her attention for refills, boxes to go, but the bill came easy.

Word of mouth got us to Ruby's for dinner. The friendly staff and good food will have us come back when we're in the area. A clean, bright layout and servers that offered suggestions and a smile. We shared a shake and got a burger each. The burgers were cooked as ordered and were juicy and flavourful. Refillable fries if... More

We go to Ruby's every time we are in southern Calif. Their clam chowder makes eveyone elses taste like watered down soup. Their hamburgers are also great and large. Always ask for extra napkins. We do really miss the old Ruby's on the Seal Beach pier.
