We arrived around 6 pm on a Friday night. All the eateries we were interested in were packed and we noticed that this restaurant only had a couple of folks eating in it. Our friends heard it served good food, so we decided to give it a try. First impressions were poor. There were several empty tables with food sitting... More

As good as it gets! Small diner in a cute area of shops. Indoor and outdoor dining under shady umbrellas. Greeted with a huge warm hello the moment we pushed open the door. Ordered at or table in minutes. Fantastic salsas. Absolutely huge burritos and Chimichangas for $7-8. Truly stuffed with meat and cheese. I'm attaching a photo. My silver... More

Stopped here for an early lunch and we were not disappointed. Couple of burritos and two taco platters filled us all. The Oaxaca shrimp taco platter was nicely seasoned. Not to much for this one's tummy. Others might find it to bland. The mixed taco platter of Salmon and Mahi Mahi: should have been both Mahi Mahi - salmon was... More

I will not go here again. The prices are about like Denny's but the food is really poor quality. It does not have a good flavor. Neither my husband or I will return.

We live in northern Cal. Whenever we travel anywhere near Vacaville we always eat at Rubio's. Always good food.

It seemed to take 5 minutes per person to order.only one person on cashier. But mgr made it right and was very very nice. The end result was it was worth the wait. I had both types of fish taco and they were both worth coming back for in the future!

Great food, great service, they wipe off the tables with a clean rag, make sure that the spoon and fork that you asked for has been wiped off as well. The restroom is clean. Every crew is always busy taking care of customers and things around the restaurant. This is why i keep coming back to this location - i've... More

Description
The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
