This is an old landmark restaurant here. They only serve breakfast and lunch (closes at 3 PM). The portions are generous and the costs modest. They are very popular with the older baby boomer generation and are usually crowded. The front of the store sells candy, local souvenirs and other things for travelers. If you want a hearty breakfast in... More

This restaurant has been around for decades and still holds up it's name as a great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Their bacon is our of this world!

Very nice restaurant, we all got the cob salad. The lettuce in the salad was just huge. Had to cut it a lot just to eat it. We were given small water glasses and the lady had a hard time keeping them full.

All three of us had selections from the senior menu. GREAT cod with vegetables - even came with a salad & ice cream! The others had the BLT and said it was the best that they ever had. Now I realize sometimes the enjoyment has to do with the excitement of the company, but the waitress was very sweet, too!

Easy-on/easy-off freeway access, this is a convenient stop for breakfast or lunch (they're closed for dinner). Big family-oriented restaurant, with an attentive staff and great food. Expect long lines on weekends and holidays if you arrive after 10 a.m., but worth the wait -- it's popular with the locals. Big portions. Hearty homestyle cooking. Great coffee. Definitely worth the visit.

We ate breakfast here twice and it is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the portion size is ginormous! Taste great too!! I highly recommend eating breakfast here.

This place has been here forever, the food is great and you get a lot of it. The service is also great. You can't go wrong eating there. Beware very busy.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. It is our Sunday tradition for breakfast. Everything is good so you can't go wrong. The homemade corned beef hash is the best. I usually get the eggs benedict.

We always stop here for breakfast on our way to Lake Tahoe. They have their own parking lot and if that is full there is street parking nearby. Good selection of your normal breakfast items. Wait staff is prompt and attentive. Just a good local restaurant with decent comfort food at decent prices.
