It's been a long time (actually we started eating there summer of 2015) since we've been to Morucci's; we ate there every time we came to Walnut Creek house-hunting in nearby Rossmoor. It was our go-to lunch destination. The place was always packed at lunchtime and probably still is. It's a traditional Italian deli, with great sandwiches, nice and generous,... More

My father taught me how to make a good sandwich, and Morucci's makes an excellent one. With all the selection of sandwiches they offer, I keep coming back to their #1. Start off with bread that will hold its own, not crumble and fall apart (ciabatta roll). Then lay a foundation, in this case a healthy smear of pesto...add cheese,... More

Every sandwich, everytime, delicious. Try to come off hours as the line stretches out the door, but if you can't it's worth the wait.

Good sandwich. And reasonably priced. Nothing spectacular, and not worth the 35 minute wait. The hype machine and bandwagon mentality is making the owners rich. Kudos to them for turning an ordinary meal into a sensation. I've had dozens of better deli sandwiches.

Met a friend here for a late lunch on Sunday and the line was out the door. I was surprised but the wait was worth it. We order sandwiches both looked great but even tasted better. Had to go back the next day.

This is a great sandwich shop. Sandwiches are made to order with tasty and fresh ingredients. Lines are often out the door and parking is difficult. It's your decision if you are up to visit considering the parking and the line.

They have great sandwiches, soups and salads! There is usually a line out the door at lunch time. My favorite is the #1 roasted turkey sandwich, choice your bread and toppings - they roast a couple of turkey's every morning. It is an Italian Deli, but don't think of it as a traditional deli, best for sandwiches. I blog on... More

There's usually a long line, but there's a reason for that.....it's probably the best sandwich in town. It has great sides too.

Usually a line out the door at lunch time and for good reason. Amazing Italian style deli sandwiches, great selection. They work fast so the line moves pretty quickly. You can eat out on the front patio if the weather is nice. A few tables inside too but we usually get it to go.
