Their curries are fabulous, and I ordered the curried eggplant with prawns this time. The flavor was superb as always, and the staff, although short-handed that night, was efficient and friendly.

Very small inside but that is the attraction for me. The service is wonderful as is the food. I have taken my friends her and they love it also.

My husband and I were in the mood for Thai food, and just happened to see the sign for Plearn Thai while driving down Main St. at 2:30 in the afternoon in the middle of a huge downpour. We parked easily and walked in to be greeted by the smiling owner, who took our coats and seated us immediately. From... More

When in town and want Thai food, this is where we go. Small and simple place but consistently good food at reasonable prices.

Good thai tea and thai dishes (love the clay pot). This place is narrow, so not a lot of seating and it's really popular. Service has been friendly when I've gone.

Food was average - mixed platter starters tasted as if they'd been fried in old oil and were largely taste-free. Green curry was ok but no more; steamed fish was underdone, to the point of inedibility - my colleague, being English like all of us, declined to make a fuss. Service was brisk to the point of rudeness - plates... More

My wife and I will frequently walk to town for a show or just get out. We have ended our walks with a meal at this place. The staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh and very tasty. One of those little finds you hope will never change in a very fast growing city where restaurants come... More

This is a small cozy place. The staff are very gracious and the portions are good. The Papaya salad and the curries are great!

The restaurant has been around for decades. I've been here several times, and the one in Berkeley, and it serves up consistently good food, is amenable to changing the heat of the dish (i.e. four star spicy versus one star spicy), and the service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend the place for lunch as the atmosphere isn't as... More

Had the Pat-Bai-Krapow with ground chicken. Great blend of very fresh bell peppers, green beans, zucchini and bamboo in a light sauce of sweet basil and red pepper. The sauce was a great balance of sweet and spicy hot. The serving size was HUGE. I followed up with the traditional sweet sticky rice with coconut sauce and fresh mangoes. The... More
