I bought a Groupon deal and my friend and I have been waiting to try this place out for years. The deal came with scones and a sample of 4 different teas. We tried lychee tea, kafir lily, a green tea & a black tea. For my choice of scone I had apricot. We wanted to try the food so... More

We usually make reservations and have used Groupon a lot here. Tea selection is insane, so many choices. I like the chocolate vanilla mint. Scones are made to order and yum. We did the tea tour once and really enjoyed it. They let you try all types of tea.

Really liked Chado Tea Room, their beautiful teas and fantastic service. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is their lack of vegan options for high tea. It's so easy to make a vegan cream cheese / cucumber sandwich, vegan scone with jam, etc. It would have been lovely to have the high tea experience and not be... More

Stopped for afternoon tea and was totally spoiled for choice. Thank goodness there was a guide to teas because the choices available were huge! My two sons had iced tea while came in huge jugs and refilled when necessary. Tea was tasty and quickly served, although portions were small. The toilets could do with some attention, being a bit tired... More

They have every tea known to mankind. VERY friendly staff. Teas and food are reasonably priced. If you like tea, you can't go wrong.

I have been to this location once. I went to the one next to Union Station a few times but that location may be closed now?? Their sandwiches are really good and if you tell them what you are in the mood for, they can offer tea recommendations. I can't remember what I've tried but I'm sure I've had a... More

My husband and I called in to have Afternoon Tea. There are seats outside, but it was much nicer to sit in the cool air-conditioned inside, with lovely relaxing music playing. We were given a sample of a fruit tea and given a book full of teas to choose from (400 teas !). We finally decided on a Cameroon Black... More

My opinions on Chado are divided. I've been to all of their locations over the years and I like the ambience, I love the vast tea selection and their brewing is always perfect. However, after 6-7 years, they still have not changed the menu and their food leaves a bit to be desired. Dry bread on the sandwiches, bland desserts... More

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
