This is an authentic Mexican tequeria, bakery and grocery store. For meat, try the beef tongue in a burrito or taco. Its tender and mild tasting.

Take out food was awesome. I wouldn't miss this whenever I am traveling the I-5. It's just a couple blocks from the freeway. Next time I'll try to call ahead to order: this isn't fast food.

A rather unusual business in old downtown Williams consisting of a small grocery store, a taqueria and a bakery. Not much room to sit down other than a few tables outside. We enjoyed excellent carne asada burritos and intend to make this a regular stop when traveling on I5.

This place was pretty much as others have said before. Authentic Mexican, only one English speaker in the place. I had the recommended burrito and it was very good. Also a couple of dollars cheaper than other places we have been. Inside and outside dining. My girlfriend thought the area was a little sketchy while I thought it was just... More

We stopped here while driving from the coast to Sacramento. We ordered a Carnitas Taco and a Adobada Taco and both were delicious. This is not a fancy establishment, but the food was great. They have three tables in front that are covered, so if you have a dog, this would work. Don't forget to check out the bakery for... More

What a great little city to spend a couple of days! The downtown is very clean and safe. Many restaurants to choose and shops to purchase everything from basic needs to specialty pharmaceuticals. The weather was perfect and only had a minimal amount of rain. Don't miss this town!

Hungry guys sniff out a gem. Tucked away on a quiet street was this little goldmine. Nestled in a commercial part of the quiet rural town of Williams, CA off of I-5 called La Fortuna. It's a little walk up Mexican restaurant, which is connected to a small Mexican market and bakery. The menu is simple and the food fantastic.... More

Every time my husband and I go to Mendocino, we never miss going to La Fortuna. I always have their adobada tacos which is very tasty. My husband always have the burrito but this time he had the torta milanesa (onions, tomatoes, mayonesa, avocado, lettuce and jalapeno). This place never disappoints and they've fixed the place too, and we've been... More

My wife and I had lunch here during a trip. Perhaps the best burritos we have ever had, and we are from San Francisco with a good bit to compare. Simple but great place. Very friendly. Would recommend very highly without reservation.

Don't let the building fool you - go inside and give the food a try. It is full of local patrons all enjoying their wonderful Mexican food. The food explodes with flavor and heat!! We always order quarts of their Chile Verde and Spicy Pork to take home for our freezer. The employees are lovely and quick to smile!! My... More
