Lots of families with children at breakfast on a Sunday. Good rustic surrounds. Menu limited as to one method of preparation of eggs, otherwise okay. Service quick and food tasty. Fairly good value.
Great spot for family breakfast or lunch. Kids are entertained with the farm animals nearby. Menu is awesome, catering for gluten free and vegan. I had the Anglers Breakfast which was perfect! The smoked salmon was done well. We also tried the waffles with bacon, and the green breakfast which to me looked delicious too. Lovely neighbourhood cafe with sustainable... More
Took a walk along the Yarra and ended up at this lovely spot. We had the field breakfast, the waffles, a cappuccino and a chocolate shake. All spot on. This was just pure heaven!! The beans were a surprising standout. The sun was beautiful, the rooster was crowing and the surrounding farm made for a charming walk after the meal.
What more could you want! Little charming cafe at the Children's Farm where you can eat your lunch/brunch/ snack amongst chickens. And then go and pat the little guinea pigs and goats. Perfect for all people, great and small. I love the sausage rolls and cupcakes!
I visit here frequently, usually with two pre schoolers in two. Every time the staff are lovely, friendly and service is fast. Coffee is good and food is yum.
It was ok... That's the best way to sum up this cafe. The surroundings are pretty cool but nothing really special. The food was average at best. We had the pork belly rolls which unfortunately seemed to be more fat than pork. They try so hard to give off a hipster/hippy vibe that you don't believe what they are trying... More
This place is a favourite and I love to visit when the farmers market is on (check dates). The food is fabulously fresh, absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Plus its in a really pretty setting which feels miles away from the city. Service is always friendly.
Great food, awesome location! If you're visiting the farm or usuing it as an excuse to stop on the bike trail that passes by on the journey up the Yarra

We wanted to pop in for a coffee & sit down yesterday on our 4 hour walk from the CBD to Wesgarth following the Yarra. We were told we had to pay $2 to enter the complex, just to go to the cafe for our coffees? $2 per head seems like a large overhead on the price of 2 coffees. Is this a new policy?
