My favorite place in Boulder! Authentic Japanese cuisine. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Sushi is superb. If you make it to Boulder, it is a must stop!

This is one of many possibilities for eating sushi in Boulder. Restaurant Tasuki is a nice place, not too big and with a nice atmosphere completed with good and competent service. One is offered a nice selection of varieties, so it is not necessarily easy to choose what to eat. I have eaten here several times, and the food is... More

My family enjoys sushi and prefer Tasuki because it's very relaxed with really good service and great food. The sushi is very good. We enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the chefs. We always order too much, but finish it somehow.

Went early last night for dinner. Sat at sushi bar. Fun to watch prep. Dishes come out as they are prepared. Sushi is good with large portions. We love the pickled vegetables and minced chicken with eggplant. Tried fried tofu last night. Great.

Tasuki is not a fancy place but it does serve quality sushi and other Japanese dishes at a reasonable price. If you want to avoid the crowds in downtown Boulder but don't want to sacrifice on quality sushi, I would recommend coming here.

Tasuki is a good choice for those who tire of Boulder restaurants' noisy, student/yuppie ambience: simple decor, ample parking, quiet and sedate, with a wonderful, welcoming staff. Authentically Japanese, with a litle Osaka flavour, it's away from the mall and the fray. This said, your best bet is to order sushi and sit at the bar, so you can watch... More

This sushi restaurant is actually run by Japanese, not like a lot of them, and the food shows. The sushi was extremely fresh and tasty. The unagi and ika were some of the best I ever had anywhere, including in Japan. And there is Japanese beer on tap. My only frustration was that the service was a little slow. And... More

We ate at Tasuki after being told about it by a friend. They said it was the best Japanese food in Boulder. They did not lie. The sushi is just like in Tokyo and the entire menu is authentic. The servers are top notch-our server was delightful and knowledgeable. Can't recommend this place enough-ENJOY

Naraya approaches traditional Thai and Japanese dishes as if they were works of modern art. The superior ingredients are the building blocks of inspiration and the plates are crafted to please both the palate and the eye. Only high quality products are used and Executive Chef Edfors makes it her personal mission to serve the best Thai curry in town.

The full sushi bar is expertly manned by Master Chef Charlie Kiyomichi, whose work behind the bar creating delicious sushi and roll masterpieces has earned him his own customer following over the years.

What customers say about us:
"This is authentic Thai Food and it's far superior to any other Thai restaurant in Boulder. These are Thai people cooking real Thai food, not a pan-Asian restaurant trying capture the Thai niche."

"One of the best kept sushi secrets in Boulder. the sushi is of the same quality and freshness as Tora and Zanmai, but less expensive and greater chances of getting a seat at the sushi bar without a wait.
