While the food is excellent at Cafe Aion, I do not recommend going there if you are on any sort of a schedule. We waited almost an hour for our food -- after waiting 20 minutes for beverages. We ended up having to leave before we finished our meal in order to make it to our performance at Macky Auditorium.... More

We've been several times -- the food can be very good but the service is uneven and we've had to rush because service was so slow we were going to miss a concert

This was an easy brunch stop after we hiked nearby. It was great for a large group and accommodating for our toddler. Great menu items - don't miss the croissants or the fried to order donut!! We really enjoyed our stop here and had no complaints. My picky brother-in-law even liked the fresh-brewed pressed coffee. The sweet potato fries were... More

Cafe Aion is a great choice on The Hill, especially if you are headed to the Shakespeare Festival or any of the cultural events held on the CU campus. The food is delicious, the choices varied, and the prices are reasonable.

We dine here a couple of times a year when attending an event on Campus or at the Fox. The tapas are always so enjoyable! Spanish wine offerings are fun and unique. Service has been spotty over the years - but our server this week warmed up to us nicely :) People watching on this interesting little corner is a... More

Have visited here about 4 times over last 2 years. Food has been uniformly excellent though complicated. Best service at bar. Last visit was terrible. Could get no info on food, happy hour, drinks. Waited interminably, with no service. Finally simply left (restaurant was quite slow, no excuses for the poor service). Although I've enjoyed Aion in the past, I... More

I was looking forward to paella from Cafe Aion at the Wednesday Farmer's Market. After waiting in line 20 minutes for a fresh chicken kale paella I was served a plate of gloppy yellow rice with a scraggly kale leaf on top. And a tiny tiny drumstick was stuck to the side of the glop. It was $11 and served... More

Had been intending to try Cafe Aion for a while. Happened to be near The Hill at happy hour so gave it a go. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting anything special. But I certainly was surprised. Had a selection of tapas: oyster mushrooms on grilled bread, patatas bravas, mussels, gambas al ajillo, Moroccan spiced pork sliders and merguez... More

Went there for breakfast and the menu looked great. But when the food finally got to the table, I mean finally it wasn't nearly as good as the menu made it seem.

This place was amazing! The food was amazing (seafood paella was our favorite part of our trip). The staff was friendly and attentive, I wish I remembered the waitress's name to give her name recognition. The ambiance of the restaurant was very chic and trendy. We can't wait to com back!
