We were in Boulder and needed to eat. We looked up local restaurants and Murphy's showed up. It's in business complex and I was a little worried. No need! We went during happy hour and ordered five things. Two margarita's...yummy (though small had a kick),...More

The meal overall at Murphy's in Boulder Colorado was very good. The prime rib was very good and the giro excellent. Very good desert and average service. Recommend.

My husband and I dined here tonight. We arrived at 6:15 and had a choice of seating areas. They offered a nice variety of specials including a salmon dish on wilted spinach and roasted potatoes with a crumbled goat cheese topping. My husband ordered the...More

There's something for everyone at Murphy's. A good place for Happy Hour, to meet for drinks, to have a good informal meal, or to bring the family. It works for everyone and for every occasion. It's especially welcoming for families with children. Great kids menu...More

Dined with a group of friends on Mother's Day, although not to celebrate Mother's Day. We had the following dishes followed by a comment for each: Gyro - Tasted really good but was short on tzatziki sauce; Roast Beef Dip Sandwich - Needed more seasoning,...More

My husband and I went to take advantage of my free birthday dinner voucher which I received in the mail. Unlike many of the reviews, we found the food to be good and the service to be fine. He is vegetarian and ordered the Portobello...More

It's been a while since I've been here. They have an eclectic menu, so most can find something of interest. The problem is service and execution. I got the BBQ ribs. The plate was warmer than the ribs. My wife got the beef sandwich, but...More

Murphy's is not special but it's reliable and not expensive. Food is pretty basic but good and bar scene is usually fun. A good place for a casual dinner.

Murphy's is one of those places that has a little something of everything on the menu: some pasta, a steak, some Mexican, some seafood. All of it is fine, but none of it is exceptional. My meatloaf and mashed potatoes were salvaged by asking for...More

Description
Murphy's has been serving Boulder since 1984! The original Murphy's in North Boulder was started in 1984. Since then we have worked hard to keep ahead of the times without losing that comfortable neighborhood feel that is so pleasant. We're happy to have you join us whether it be in North Boulder, South Boulder or our latest Tap House in Louisville, CO. Murphy's does a contemporary take on American cuisine. We mix old favorites like meatloaf and make it with Bison and top it with mushroom-shallot gravy. Our bar has all of the best beers from around the world as well as great local craft beers. Our drinks harken back to the golden days of well made cocktails like the Old Fashioned. We aim for you to be comfortable whether you are a new-born or shall we say slightly older. Our goal is to be the best neighborhood restaurant you could hope for!
