A good stop for a breakfast or lunch sandwich and coffee. Plenty of seating and decent wifi service.

This is a popular place for people to hold meetings. It's in a central location and has great coffee and bagels or bagel sandwiches in the morning. Local elected officials are often seen here holding court and meeting in small groups. Friendly owners with great...More
Bonfire coffee is well designed, has plenty of outlets, great food, a very friendly staff, and serves good fare at a reasonable price. Finding a great coffee shop in the mountains of Colorado is difficult to do, which leads me to Starbucks on some occasions...More

We stayed at the Distillery Inn where the Nespresso gets you by for first cup but for a real quality cup of coffee the Bonfire is definitely the ticket in Carbondale. Breakfast sandwiches also hit the spot.
The barista's know what they're doing. Attention to detail and the coffee drinks/ lattes, etc are perfect. Foam is how it should be. No auto-machine BS like most other places. The sandwiches are also yummy.
A busy downtown coffee shop with tables at the back for business meetings or a friendly chat. Bring your computer. Excellent source of tasty bakery goods including Gluten Free Scones that are out of this world. The banana bread is excellent!
