Have been here a handful of times, poor service and the restaurant side has a definite odor of mold. Last visit was on a weekend night. Ate on the bar side and had to wait quite a while for a waitress and even longer for our food. The waitress was not familiar with a certain type of drink, hot toddy... More

I love bar-b-que and I've tried it all over the U.S. This is the best I've come across yet. It's right on I-25 at Exit 74 in Colorado; not a place you would expect to have such great food. Prices are reasonable and the servings are large. The brisket has 1/4 inch bark and is fork tender. The sides are... More

Really cool little barbque place. I had the sliced brisket and found it to be moist and just the right amount of smoke. The patio is a great place to sit and have a beer and a little music. The gift shop has some items you won't find in the rest of the state. Well worth stopping in.

This is a hole-in-the-wall spot between Walsenburg and Pueblo, just off I-25. There is a bar on one side and arestaurant on the other..with a small gift shop in between. The restaurant is set up like a diner, with old petrol signs on the walls, even an old pump. The menu is pure BBQ...and the food and service was GREAT!!... More

Food was simply amazing....seriously delish. We had the "chili" fries, which was made out of a "green chili" rather than traditional red chili....and it was AMAZING. The chicken fried steak was fork tender and tasty....everything we ordered was spot on! Had a new waitress, which, unfortunately, was clueless... it the bartender came over to help...and she rocked. Will be back!!

On the road we dropped into this place. Lots of fun décor and the food and service were good. To cold that day to do ice cream, but they were set to do that too

Great barbeque ...melt in your mouth brisket. Charming decor taken back time feel. You can browse the gift shop while there and pick up something to take home

When on a road trip, we prefer local restaurants over big city chains. Obie's was definitely worth the stop! We had the brisket with extra crispy fries and beans and the Slopper...both were delicious! Service was also wonderful!

You don't expect to get good shrimp at a place with "filling station" in it's name. But the shrimp was very good, and plentiful for a very reasonable price. We just kind of lucked into this place, and we didn't know what to expect. We were driving back to the Denver airport and pulled off at the stop for Colorado... More
