I've eaten here 15+ times since discovering this amazing German restaurant, and plan on continuing the trend. Their salad is delicious, their beers and wine very satisfying, their jagerschnizel aaaaaah-mazing. Having grown up in Germany, it is a feat to actually find German food stateside worth talking about. Finish the amazing meal with one of their glorious desserts. You'll thank... More

The food was decent, prices were okay, service was very friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it wasn't bad.

Trip Advisor helped me find the only German restaurant in Colorado Springs, and it met all of my expectations! They had all the right beers (Warsteiner, Paulaner, Konig, Hacker-Pschorr) and all the right sausages. We split one of the combination plates along with a salad, and it was much more than the 2 of us could eat. Of course, that... More

We went to this restaurant with high expectations and was disappointed by what we got. The goulash was so salty that we couldn't even eat it. Other dishes were very heavy (but that's normal for German food) so we didn't eat too much. I just found this place to be nothing special.

I've eaten a number of times at the Edelweiss and find the food delicious, the friendly wait staff superior, and the atmosphere charming. The decor takes me back to various restaurants I've visited in Germany, and I especially enjoy their Christmas decorations. In warm weather the patio is a lovely place to eat. There's a great selection of German wines... More

I was not a fan of their bratwursts. They were not tasty. Service was slow. Beer variety was small. There were only 4 German beers available.

We get our Bratwurst from a local company that is very well known, granted they are not the "fest" style brats you would find on the street, they are more of a high end fine ground Weiss Wurst so maybe not what you are used to. As for the beer maybe you have the wrong restaurant? One whole page is... More

Authentic German style food and drink. Charming atmosphere and the service staff are efficient and friendly. Food is outstanding and probably the best German food this side of Munich. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was great. Depending on your family, this may or may not seem like authentic German food. Regardless, the food is really good! The pricing isn't that bad considering the portion sizes! Great beer selection and overall feel of the place. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Springs.

You can't go wrong here , everything is so good. If the weather is nice sit out on the patio, it is so pretty. Everyone in the family from granparents to the baby have a great time when we go here. Best German chocolate cake around.

Good food. They were training new staff and did a good job. My brother recommended and I was not disappointed.

For over 40 years this family-owned German Restaurant on the south side of Colorado Springs has served over a million happy customers. The restaurant invites guests to dine in one of its several rooms decorated with artifacts from Europe. With strolling musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, three blazing fireplaces in winter, and an authentic "Biergarten" in summer, you are sure to enter into another world as a guest at Edelweiss. The authentic menu with a variety of Old World German dishes includes Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Sauerbraten, with newer-age items such as Flammekuchen and Maultaschen. For those not so adventurous palates Edelweiss offers other Continental fare such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Filet Tournedos, or Fresh Salmon Filet. Imported German Beers and Wines can be ordered to compliment any of the flavorful dishes. The European-trained Swiss Pastry Chef bakes all of the desserts from scratch, so save room for one of the rich Tortes or pastries, or take some to go.
