Amazing! First, make a reservation! This place is popular for a reason. Second, parking can be an issue, give yourself some extra time. The bar staff are extremely helpful, so ask questions. The atmosphere is fun; we loved the accordion music and the energy it brought to the main room. The food! Wow! The portions are huge and everything has... More

My wife and I met a couple of friends here for dinner. It was our first time there. We had just returned from Germany after a stay there of 8 years, so we were very accustomed to German restaurants and beer gardens. The Edelweiss Restaurant did not disappoint...it was like we were back in Germany. The meals are large servings... More

This is a really nice restaurant with great service and wonderful food. The patio is a bit like a German Biergarten and having a beer outside in summer with good friends is the best. The food is pretty authentic and I love going there. My personal favorite is the Apfelstrudel! It's to die for.

This is a can't miss place. We're into that nice heavy German cuisine and Edelweiss doesn't disappoint. This has the feel of a small hunting lodge when you walk in and a number of tables in the dining room with a small enclosed fire, some hunting trophies and (for some reason) plenty but of nutcrackers. Our first trip there (November)... More

We came here on a Friday night our family (4) and meet friends family of (5). We are new to the area, and had heard great reviews from friends who recommended dining here. The host was gracious to find our party a table, but did recommend reservations in the future particularly on the weekends (which is definitely something to keep... More

As a military family that served in Germany for 8 years, this restaurant provided a pleasant throwback to our time overseas! The decor was 100% typical and the wait staff was very friendly. We had a variety of menu items - salmon, goulash, cordon bleu and Jaeger schnitzel, as well as dessert. The food overall was good and very reminiscent... More

For over 40 years this family-owned German Restaurant on the south side of Colorado Springs has served over a million happy customers. The restaurant invites guests to dine in one of its several rooms decorated with artifacts from Europe. With strolling musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, three blazing fireplaces in winter, and an authentic "Biergarten" in summer, you are sure to enter into another world as a guest at Edelweiss. The authentic menu with a variety of Old World German dishes includes Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Sauerbraten, with newer-age items such as Flammekuchen and Maultaschen. For those not so adventurous palates Edelweiss offers other Continental fare such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Filet Tournedos, or Fresh Salmon Filet. Imported German Beers and Wines can be ordered to compliment any of the flavorful dishes. The European-trained Swiss Pastry Chef bakes all of the desserts from scratch, so save room for one of the rich Tortes or pastries, or take some to go.
