We loved our visit to Shuga's for lunch. It's built in an old house, and you can eat on the porch, in any of the first floor rooms, or even in the backyard al fresco. The menu is not extensive, but really perfect for lunch....More

The restaurant is located away from the numerous eateries associated with the Old Colorado City and immediate downtown area. After a 20 mile bike ride, our group of 4 was very hungry and I didn't want to drive the 2 miles across town for some...More

No real gluten free options but their salads - they made that clear from the beginning. The salad nicose was very good and a great price. Server was to the point, all business.

Went for happy hour - tried the spicy shrimp soup (excellent) and the jalapeno/bacon mac and cheese (OK). The happy hour drink specials were not that special. Still $6 for a VERY small glass of sangria, and the glass is full of ice. Nice outdoor...More

Fun and funky little place. We stopped for lunch. 8 picky eaters and everyone was happy. They also have interesting cocktails. A nice outdoor patio adds to the ambiance!

Shugas is a neat local restaurant with good food. Located near downtown so easy to find for lunch. Has outside seating so on a nice day you can enjoy.

I stopped here for lunch on my way from New Mexico to Wyoming. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back.

Bartenders are on point. The minute we ordered he suggested a few things that just made our visit that much better. Lets not fail to mention the humor in the crappy beer and the pretentious beer.

I believe they do have gluten free. I know that Coquettes gluten free bakery will be moving in a block away from Shugas.

There is outdoor seating, but it's more of a funky than swanky vibe. Yes, you can see the mountains.

Established in 2001. Shuga's was created by Alexius Weston as a place to hang out with great food and really inventive cocktails. She had just come from the Northwest area of the country and wanted to create a cool space where she felt comfortable. Initially focusing on Vivace espresso as a delicious mainstay, the place soon morphed into serving amazing paninis, salads, and the out-of-this-world Brazilian Coconut Shrimp Soup. The infusion of Lavender Martinis and cocktails created with care helped launch Shuga's into the forefront of the local Colorado Springs food scene.
