Every time we come to the area we dine at the Windsor Hotel. Our evening was exceptional once again. Wine Wednesdays offer 1/2 priced bottles allowing us to move up the list. The wine list is extensive and we have never been disappointed. The chef...More

This place seems out of place in Del Norte. Expensive and fine dining, worth going if you have a nice night out. Very friendly staff. Knowledgable. Pairs drinks with your meal.

The service was friendly, the food was amazing. And the lunch menu prices were very reasonable, bordering on cheap IMO. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and enemies alike, and most definitely will be back.

I have eaten/had drinks here many times over the last few years and have nothing but good things to report...Excellent food and presentations. The service is responsive and quick and not overly aggressive. Eating alone, try the bar, reservations for dinner is a good idea...More

We enjoyed the most tender ribeye steak we had ever eaten here on a romantic date night. The atmosphere is quiet, historical, and old fashioned in decor. We had excellent service and enjoyed our meal immensely.

The food was awesome! Between us, I think we had just about everything on the Christmas menu, the Alamosa Bass, the Pork, the Roast Beef. All was great and everyone happy. The cocktails were very intriguing, so we had 6 different cocktails and tasted them...More

Agree with all above. Super casual seems to be fine (I assume lots of locals eat/drink here too), but I wore a nice shirt and slacks and felt fine too.

The dress code is what I like to call Colorado casual. We had just come in from camping and were less than glamorous. Never the less, we were treated wonderfully and this only enhanced the over all experience.

Description
Chef Regan is a rising star in the valley. Her dishes shine far beyond flavor and presentation. Innovative dishes combined with the freshest local ingredients have earned her a reputation of DE-LIGHTRESS.Oh! But let's not forget Regan's desserts... TEMPTRESS.... comes to mind, with one taste of her decadent chocolate souffle! The Dining Room at the Windsor is all aglow with local patrons' and travelers' raves and reviews. Come in, enjoy the service and know that tasting IS believing! Kodi Whitehead, our own local starling, returning to the valley with his wife, Regan, this last spring. As the Food and Beverage Director, Kodi brings his appreciation, experience and formal training as a Sommelier (from the Court of Master Sommeliers). Yet, Wines are only the beginning... what an excellent and fun evening to be had, learning from your host, about fine foods and drink. The Dining Room, at the Windsor, is looking forward to your arrival and providing you with a superb and 4th dimension dining experience!
