This is a very unique restaurant. The menu has mostly wild game meals (elk, buffalo, Cornish hen, etc) but they also have some chicken, pork and steak options. It's a super unique experience. I had elk and Buffalo and it was quite good. I suggest...More

Recently ate at the Buckhorn Exchange in Denver. Steak was excellent and prepared just the way I requested. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu choices and helpful since I had never eaten there. Quite the variety of meats--quail, buffalo, elk, mountain oysters.Historical building with...More

This was a really fun place to go with the family on our trip. The atmosphere was unique with a lot of taxidermy amd whatnot. The menu was interesting to read with a lot of game meats and cool mix drinks to try. It's pretty...More

We visited this historic restaurant three years ago for my son's birthday, and it was disappointing, lacking in food quality and service - it wasn't bad by any means, but still, for the price, I assumed we'd probably never go back. But we decided to...More

Interesting. Chose this place since it was the oldest restaurant in Denver. Once your inside it appears to be the oldest restaurant in Denver, not that's that is a bad thing. Very quaint building with interesting history. Upstairs is a beautiful bar area with entertainment....More

The food here is excellent and so is the service. The perfect place if you like to eat meat! We ate rattlesnake, Elk and Bison. I would definitely go back if I visit Denver again.

Casual - This is a Colorado local restaurant and when you enter it gives you that mountain feeling. It is what you would expect 100 years ago to enter a lowly lit, place with lots of wall mounts and home style seating. There... More
