I was here earlier in the year for a business trip. The steak was good and the beer selection was nice.

Marlowe's has been around a long time. There is a very good reason....good service and good food. The prices are reasonable for 16th street. It's a great place to stop in for a drink and appetizer.

We had a group of 12. Service was great. Food was delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly. Recommend the charcuterie board as a starter.

We went here for a NYE family dinner before the fireworks. Good was overpriced, rude service. After ordering appetizer, we asked if they have complimentary bread. We were told that their breads is bad, but we can get a "baguette" style bread for a $1...More

We had been walking around the 16th Street Mall in Denver before going to a movie, got a little cold and decided to have a glass of wine and something to eat. Great beer and wine lists, great Happy Hour and great service! We've had...More

This place is located on the popular 16th street and several tables are outside directly on this street. The menu is typically North American with some modern revisitation. The service isn't really fast and may be improved. During my visit, I ordered a salad that...More

Five of us came here for a Christmas Eve dinner. None of us had been here for many years. It turns out that the food was quite excellent. I had the Scottish salmon, which was done just right, on the medium-rare side. Two compatriots had...More

Marlowe's echoes with the history and charm of Denver and the 16th Street Mall. Since opening our doors on the ground floor of the Historic Kittredge Building in 1982, Marlowe's witnessed downtown's steady growth from parking lots to skyscrapers. Our huge, imported sliding windows open to the 16th Street Mall and afford a wonderful opportunity for guests to watch downtown life glide past, while our hand-crafted Vermont cherry wood bars, vaulted ceilings and black-and-white tile floors are just a taste of our unique architectural style. Marlowe's serves lunch from 11am until 4pm every day of the week. We serve dinner from 4:30pm until 10pm Sunday-Thursday, and from 4:30pm until 11pm Friday and Saturday. You can join us for our delicious (and locally-sourced) brunch on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9am and going until 4pm. We have a late night menu, consisting of just our appetizers, every night for an hour after we stop serving our full menu. Marlowe's also has sizeable wine, cocktail and beer lists. We offer over 21 draughts, more than half from local breweries. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3pm until 7pm and from 10pm until close. Since Marlowe's grand opening more than three decades ago, we have been one of Denver's most popular spots for lunch, after-work cocktails and dinner. We continue to be committed to our community and pride ourselves on being the oldest locally owned and operated restaurant on the 16th Street Mall. We place strong emphasis on locally sourced products and love being a staple of the Downtown Denver scene!
