Nice atmosphere, drinks tasted good but were upcharged from the menu and then the food wasn't good. We ordered nachos. They were served in a bowl and the chips were swimming in cheese sauce. The tortilla soup looked appetizing, but the flavor wasn't good. We only ate one bite, but no one came by to ask if everything was ok... More

In an area with so many chains, this was a great place to go! We were visiting from out of town and thought we would try based on the reviews. We had hoped to enjoy the happy hour but there were no tables available when we arrived at 6, so go early if you are wanting to try. We were... More

Their happy hour, 4 pm till closing M-F (!) provides some impressive bargains. Tacos $3 or three for eight dollars= super fresh, generous portions; or Tostada sliders three for eight dollars also substantial and very fresh. Mix this with the bottomless guacamole just $5 between 4 and 7 PM every day . House Cabernet at $4 a glass is hardy... More

I went here for the first time and the food was good. This is not your typical Mexican restaurant as the dishes have a twist (at least the ones we ordered for dinner). We checked in on Yelp to get a free guacamole, the guacamole was delicious but they still charged us for it (I don't think a side of... More

We had a business meal in here 2 nights ago. The tacos were nice and tasty, the place is really nice, full bar with multiple selection of tequilas. The menu was varied enough and the atmosphere really nice.

This restaurant is a scratch kitchen where everything is made fresh. I highly recommend it! The chips are thin and light. Salsa is just delicious. Guacamole was made at our table and had a light lime taste. One friend ordered steak tacos. She said the meat was tender and tasty. Another friend and I ordered enchiladas. Both of us found... More

Shopping at the mall and we decided to get lunch first. Authentic Mexican cuisine. The service from Noah was exceptional from start to finish. I like that the guacamole was tableside service but I don't think the value was worth $10. I enjoyed the steak fajitas; portion size is spot on. The lunch trio (soup, quesadillas, and salad) looked like... More

The carnitas were yummy. Very tender and well seasoned pork. All sauces that came with my dish were well flavored, the amount of guac was a bit on the low end though. The service however was really friendly. It has a modern vibe, but feels a bit dark inside. So if you expect the classic bright colorful Mexican theme, you... More

Creative and tasty dishes! Our party had fajitas that were spiced really well, very good chips and, on request, HOT salsa that was delicious. The margaritas were good though a bit pricey. The Tequila Taster of 3 types was $15 and they brought a single shot divided in three glasses on a board...just outrageously overpriced. The main drawback to our... More

I really wasn't expecting what I found when I got to La Sandia. I found excellent service, with truly genuine and fresh authentic foods that were extremely pleasing to the palate. My husband and I have recently switched over to "clean eating" and I have a difficult time eating out...but I had no problems here. The drinks were delicious and... More
