Had my family eat lunch at this place. We ordered the Foreman Burger, Cosmo Burger, and Grilled Cheese sandwich. Let me start with the Foreman Burger: the bun is soft, burger is juicy, and it has lots of cheese. Second is the Cosmo Burger: my kids liked it. We also liked the seasoned fries that goes with it. Lastly, the... More

Took our kids and grandkids for a late breakfast. We had to wait until two tables opened up. We love the breakfast especially the hash browns, sausage, huge pancakes & fresh fruit. Eggs anywhere are the same. Kids love the Durango/Silverton train that runs around the restaurant. The décor takes you back to the good ole days.

We gave Oscar's a chance at breakfast based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. You should too. It's a small diner, like what you envision when thinking of a "diner." On the other hand the food is pretty great and there's a lot of it. I ordered the burrito...on the menu is says, "It's big" they are not lying. Unless you... More

Oscar's Cafe is always good. I don't think I've ever seen it not busy or had bad food. It's a place for locals as well as tourists. Their cinnamon rolls are divine and their french toast is almost like funnel cake. So so delicious. Try Oscar's; you won't be disappointed.

Don't be mislead by the modest location or store front, this is a terrific restaurant! My kids and I had breakfast at Oscar's on our way from Durango to Purgatory for a day of skiing and we were treated to great service, even greater food, and a fun, eclectic ambiance. Everything was cooked to perfection, the wait staff was excellent,... More

Always great. Should be on DDD. Apple caramel walnut pie a la mode outstanding. Varied menu, good quality, very friendly. Model train circles dining room. Nothing exotic, just good food.

Have had breakfast there many times, decided to try it for a late lunch Feb 20th. Sat near the back. Server was excellent lady, Sorry-wish I could remember her name. (She has 2 young boys). She was hard working and very personable. I had the cheeseburger with an egg on top. Was very good. Now know that Oscar's is equally... More

If you like heart attacks and greasy food, this is your place. Good service, but less than desirable food.
