We were brought here by coaches from the college. My daughter had the raspberry cream cheese stuffed French toast. Both days! I had the eggs Benedict with green chile. I've never seen that option before. It was delicious. The service was excellent. Very down-home, old-fashioned atmosphere. Reminded me of the cafe's I went to as a kid with my parents.... More

In April of 2016 we had breakfast at CJ's. We both had a veggie omelet & it was full of goodies & quite good. Coffee was excellent. We returned last week for breakfast ordering the same as it was so good before, what a surprise. The omelet had just a few veggies in it. You had to look to find... More

Just out of downtown on the way up the hill to Fort Lewis College on College ave. Limited parking and limited tables but a hangout for locals. Same staff as last we ate there some 3 years ago. Salad was huge, melted tuna and pastrami sandwiches were good. Rapid refill on drinks. Nice place for breakfast or lunch.

We loved our breakfast here and even shared our table with another local couple. So glad we did as they were very nice. The food was great, plentiful and well worth the walk from the Strater Hotel. Would go to this local gem regularly if we lived there. Since we don't and we are planning to visit again to enjoy... More

When we arrived we got a seat right away. Our waitress was sweet and efficient. I had the eggs Benedict and it was very good and filling. They provided colors and a coloring book for my child. I would return for breakfast

Had breakfast with a friend recently at CJ's and it was the best. Coffee was hot and readily available. Had Max's Big Breakfast Burrito smothered with red chili and all I can say is WOW. Big and super tasty. Worth repeating as the owner is a cool gentleman who stops by and chats with customers.

I love the locals, wanting to talk and offer advice, good place to find out history from those who made it, a regular place of Dal's, who used to bring them pies.

Stopped here for breakfast before leaving town while on a roadtrip after a recommendation from our AirBnB host and was happy with the overall feel of the restaurant. The staff was friendly and it seemed like a local place, which is always a good thing. They have various articles and collages from newspapers about local sports teams hanging on the... More

Breakfast was better than Grandma's house and that's saying something as she is the best cook. Portions were large, the variety of choices satisfied everyone in our large group. The green chile verde on the egg skillet was so good I asked for more. The biscuits were light and fluffy. You can't go wrong with visiting CJ's
