Lovely little sandwich shop, hidden way off the beaten path. Breakfast & lunch only, closed after 2:00 PM - only open M-Th and some Friday AM's - catering only on weekends. Indoor and outdoor seating - wonderful people to get to know. They have menu favorites, but extremely wiling to create anything you're looking to combine.

I have not dined in, but did attend a wedding reception that they provided food for. It was delicious. Also another time I had a meeting that sandwiches were provided by Hot Tomatoes, and some Cobb salads. Wow, Cobb salad was amazing and so was the chicken salad sandwich!

We've been enjoying Hot Tomatoes since Robynn and Ken opened several years ago, and always look forward to the fresh and delicious food. They also do a wonderful job with catering--have provided that service to the Durango Education Foundation several times, always with great results and happy comments from the guests. Robynn and Ken balance being friendly with being thoroughly... More

I had a chicken salad wrap there and it was very good, my hubby and mom liked their sandwiches as well, the only thing was that they were a little pricey. Definitely worth it if you don't mind paying a little extra.

This was a spur of the moment stop for lunch. Expected waitstaff and cafe type seating, not quite. Menu is on the chalkboard. My wife opted for the Cobb salad while I chose the Toasted Caprese sandwich. The salad was outrageous! My wife totally loved it and I enjoyed my share too! The toasted sandwich was amazing, roasted tomatoes with... More

We would never have found this place without Trip Advisor. We arrived in Durango at lunch time and looked for a place to eat. Hot Tomatoes showed up. It was great!! I had a chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had the turkey sandwich. Nothing fancy about the setting, but the food is outstanding! There was a constant stream of... More

It was my 60th birthday and we picked Hot Tomatoes to cater it. The were wonderful. The party was on site in my home. They worked well and flexibly on the menu, arrived early, set up, cooked, served a sit down dinner, and then had wonderful desserts. The food was great, and I am picky! They cleaned up everything and... More

This great little cafe offers delicious lunch options with generous portions. I have eaten here several times and they also catered a woman's retreat luncheon for me. They do a fabulous job in both areas.

We love to eat at Hot Tomatoes. It is not on the beaten path for those who are not locals, but the food is fresh and tasty and the service is top notch.

We really enjoyed the toasty capresse and turkey cranberry. We have eaten here a few times when we are in Durango and I would recommend it.

Thank A M
