The barista was very polite, friendly and helpfull. Not ro mention she made a wonderfull cup of coffee for this coffee hound. They have a breakfast, lunch and supper menu, all-be-it a small menu. Worth the stop and will definatly be back.

So glad we stopped in after eyeing for a few days while in Fairplay! The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The first day we tried the croissant with egg, cheese, ham and tomato as well as a berry bar. The second...time we went for the breakfast panini as well as another berry bar because it was so good. The panini was HUGE and the pesto really made it different from a normal breakfast sandwich in the best way. I highly recommend if you are in the area.More

Wonderful coffee and cappuccino! The employees were very friendly and didn’t have to wait at all. Our drinks were perfect and tasted great!

Drove past this little place, but decided to turn around and give it a try. I'm glad that we did. We enjoyed a very tasty latte, and could not resist the fresh-baked pumpkin cake and blueberry muffin. The coffee was a wonderful complement to the...pumpkin bread, and the service was friendly and prompt.More

Visited midday on a Monday after a long hike and every one very much enjoyed their meal. Very quick, reasonably priced and delicious.

Stopped here on the way to Breckenridge. Neat little coffee shop with friendly staff and great coffee! Shop was clean and the prices were very reasonable. The iced white chocolate mocha was one of the best I’ve had! Highly recommend!

We stopped here on a drive on hwy 9 and decided on coffee and burritos. They have lots of coffee selections as well as a variety of breakfast items. We tried the burritos and decided on trying the side of green chili’s. The burrito was...good but the sauce on the side put it over the edge. I’ve been craving it ever since. The coffee was good and reasonable but the burrito left an impression.More

The Java Moose is a good coffee, breakfast stop. We like the bagel sandwiches & coffee. Extra seating in the backroom, good wi-fi. Cash only, but they have an atm. Tends to be busy in the morning.

Apparently, this place is under new management, and it shows. Hours are variable and not necessarily what is on the web site or the door. Wait time for food is long, especially if there are more than just a few customers, because there is not...enough staff, according to the counter person. When our food did arrive, it was not very hot and was mediocre in taste. Coffees were good. Hopefully, the new owner will get it together before the Moose gets run into the ground. Until then, we will be going else where.More

Starving for a coffee buzz and an egg bagel after a marathon in Chicago & a flight back to Denver....we stopped at Java Moose on our way home to fill our needs. Royally disappointed in staff & food! Coffee was tasty! I ordered the everything...bagel with egg, cheese & paid extra for avacado....we also bought the oatmeal/coconut/chocolate brownie and a biscotti.... back on the road...discovered there was no avocado...turned around & asked if they could add it.. Bad idea! Staff acted completely annoyed & the cook/apron clad short guy threw up his hands and said..."I have no idea what you ordered". Very disappointing considering we have many fly fishing visitors that have to pass by this establishment & now I will never recommend this place. Not so much for the tasteless but not hairless BROWNIE...ugh! but for the way staff presents themselves. We are in Colorado people! Be happy!More
