Stuck in hotel by bad weather, so we ate in the bar. Pasta dishes were decent, wine by the glass so-so.

You can tell a lot about how well the restaurant will be when you are the only one eating there for over an hour on a otherwise busy Saturday in town. Half the food on the menu was not available and there was not much rhyme or reason to it. It varied from hamburgers and pizza to some weird Asian... More

We stopped in for breakfast after spending the night in our lovely room. The eggs Benedict and French toast was good. Bacon cooked just right. The host Will was so friendly and considerate as he sat us right away and asked if we would like coffee. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. Very engages in our needs for a nice... More

The menu is all pizza and the food was sub par. I sat in a chair that felt as though it would break underneath me. It was awful.

When we checked into Hotel Colorado, we asked the front desk for a recommendation for dinner. We were told there was a new chef in the restaurant. After hiking Hanging Lake trail we decided to stay in for dinner. We stopped at the bar for a drink and met Ashley, the bartender who was friendly and efficient. Dinner was only... More

Our family of 8 (Grandparents, daughters, son-in-law, and three granddaughters) stayed at the Hotel Colorado for three nights, and enjoyed a beautiful Christmas Eve dinner at Barons. Our waiter and waitresses were so attentive. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, and the presentation of the dishes very attractive. The bisque and the Caesar salads were incredible. We all had a... With much anticipation we entered the ballroom - it was nothing grand but the tables were nicely set and the servers were very friendly. We found the salads rather wilted and unable to dress ourselves. We've eaten here on several occasions and couldn't believe our disappointment with a $39.99 per head price tag! Honestly, the potatoes were TOO lumpy and... More

I've lived in Glenwood Springs over 30 years. We've been in here a few times and also been to the Christmas play that happens here once in a while. During the cold months there is no patio service like there is in Summer. The restaurant this time of year is the bar area with limited seating. Some of the seating... More

We had an excellent time staying at the Hotel Colorado and ended our trip checking out the Barons restaurant and I'm so glad we did! The restaurant itself is adorable (would love to do an afternoon tea here!) and we had excellent service. I tried the breakfast pizza and was delighted - I will be try to recreate this at... More
