We're from Michigan, out here visiting our daughter. We have been to Rumi's every visit out here. My special favorite is the lamb shank with the special rice. My husband usually gets the gyro. Have had many conversations with the owner and enjoy each visit with him. My grand-daughter likes the grape leaves and has been eating them since she... More

We have vegan family members that visit once a year and we always make a point of eating at Rumi's. Their food is fantastic, the cozy house is comfortable and the owner often comes to our table with samples of something new they are trying in the kitchen. You absolutely HAVE to try the mushrooms appetizer. You're welcome!

The wait staff just didn't make us feel welcomed and it was our first time there! They were warm to others that have been there before. It felt like they were playing favourites to the people they recognize. That didn't bode well with me. The pita wasn't tasty. I'm very picky about pitas I like. I've found two places in... More

Great looking little house; however the food is only ok. A little dry and bland falafel balls. Lamb curry for lunch is really just shredded lamb shank with a little yellow curry sauce added - not really all cooked together to have the great flavor needed. Ok Greek salad. Soup ok. Just not that special and not sure how it... More

I like to go here with friends for lunch. The service is great and they will help walk you through the menu if you are not familiar with middle eastern cusine. Ver friendly family run business in an old house with great atmosphere

Full disclosure, I did not eat in the restaurant but at a booth they had at the arts picnic. We ordered the gyro. The bread was so stale it cracked when they tried to fold it. There was nothing else on it other than two little skinny shaved pieces of meat and some lettuce. No feta, knows tzatziki, nothing else.... More

Very friendly and attentive hostess/waitress and manager! Food was excellent and atmosphere was relaxing; can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely go out of my way to eat here in the future!

I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and absolutely love it, but Rumi's is sadly average. The lamb curry was very tender but there was a lot of water underneath the rice, and the portion size was tiny for the price paid. Overall, the food is nice but I'd rather spend the same amount of money and... More

The authentic Persian food served here is absolutely amazing. I have yet to order something off of the menu that I did not thoroughly enjoy. The quaint setting and homestyle service is relaxing and endearing. You will not be disappointed.

We have had their Gyros and Curry dishes so far, and have loved them. It is located in a great old house near downtown. The only downside is trying to find the parking lot behind the restaurant.

This restaurant has been open about 14 months and has consistently outstanding food and is always busy. I've lived in the Middle East for many years and have Persian food from Dubai to Seattle, and this restaurant is at the top in quality in cuisine, service, and has a charming atmosphere in a converted old house in the downtown Greeley area. Adding it to your directory is a service to everyone in northern Colorado.--Professor Beverly Jensen
