We were looking for a place to watch hockey and I suspected the Tavern would have it on. I looked on line to see how the food reviews were on line and the food was OK...as per most reviews. Unfortunately it was a late night menu but it did the job. Walked in and sat at the bar to be... More

The beer selection is good, the service is always just average and the food is on average just ok. I've had a few good meals, a number of average meals and a few not so great meals. Avoid the chicken tenders as they are really poor.

Enjoyed the many options of the Bloody Mary bar. Portions are large, would like more gravy with the biscuits. Service was slow, but the cause seemed to be poor staffing as the place was packed and servers had at least 6 tables each. Would try again.

Came here after dinner for some drinks. The bar staff were very good at striking up conversations. There was an abundance of basketball games on TV as well as movie trivia.

I've been here maybe a half dozen times, probably more, and it seems every time I am a little disappointed. Obviously I have hope for it or wouldn't keep going back. The last time I was there they were using a Handicap parking space for their trailer. At least that had been moved. We went this past Friday evening and... More

Went in for drinks at 10pm on a saturday night. Not very crowded. Only one server and two bartenders in entire place. Half of main level cleared for dance floor but no one dancing. The sports bar and nightclub idea is not working. Slow service. Nachos were too spicy to eat. Left at 11pm.

We had several people coming into town and we decided to treat everyone to dinner. The Tavern totally delivered! We ordered appetizers ahead of time, and requested the rooftop area - anticipating we might not get it on a Friday night. They reserved it for us - and it was fun and made it easy for our family to move... More

I know it's a popular place and maybe I just got there on an "off"day. Met up with a friend for lunch, service was very slow, it took 35 minutes to get our lunch. Seafood Bisque was luke warm and salad was watery. not at all impressed.

Food first: had dinner there last week around 11pm just before the kitchen closed. We ordered fish tacos, roast beef/french dip, a small caesar and an app of queso. We wanted this staged, what a concept, what we got, was all food coming out at exactly the same time, that often doesnt happen to me. So, our app, salad and... More
