The best little ice cream shop around the Western Slope! It looks like an ice cream shop, all cute and colorful. The owners are customer service all the way! The hot fudge and carmel sundaes are to Live For! My guy loves the organic selections, especially the Salted Caramel ice cream... Save room for this!

My husband and I stopped in Ridgway to see the True Grit Café. However, instead of having lunch, we splurged on huge sundaes at the cute little Café Ridgway à la mode. Some sundaes and shakes had unique names. My husband had the Knickerbocker Glory ($7.37) that consisted of two scoops of vanilla and one scoop of strawberry ice cream,... More

So lovely Everything from the kind owner to great flavor. Super delicious. I got pralines on top and huckleberry on the bottom. We'd come back anytime.

Checking out Ridgway shops and found this delightful and delectable place! I can highly recommend the Huckleberry Ice Cream (those are wild blueberries and they are yummy!). Served in a sugar cone (or a bowl if you prefer), this was some of the best ice cream I've experienced. They've got many other flavors to please everyone. The owner is happy... More

The ice cream is soooo good! The sorbet flavors are inventive and interesting. Both are absolutely delicious. Most recent trip included lemon cream ice cream & tropical sorbet. What a combo! Love the cute shop and the great gallery next door, too!

Cafe Ridgway A La Mode is a great stop for some really great ice cream. They use fresh ingredients and offer some really interesting flavors. Service is great. My personal favorite is their Lemon Creme, but there are many tasty options.

The park across the street has plenty of shade to enjoy your ice cream or smoothie or coffee. Nice little counter in the shop.

We were passing through Ridgway our way back from Telluride to Ouray and were feeling like a little something sweet and delicious for dessert. We "called a friend" who recommended we stop for ice cream at this highly popular spot. We didn't come away disappointed. This little birdie insisted we try the "Alchemy small batch organics", which was excellent advice.... More
