Came here on the day we arrived in Snowmass. Seated immediately. Very good service. Noisy, but not overwhelming. Husband's steak was cooked well in some spots, overdone in others. The cut was of uneven thicknesses, and attention was not paid. My ribs were nicely seasoned, but dry in many places. Will probably not go back, as there are many other... More

Big Hoss offers a full breakfast menu at reasonable prices and excellent quality. Our hotel offered a free breakfast, but after the first day we headed out in search of something better. We were delighted to find Big Hoss. The "fruit of the day" pancakes are excellent - big, fluffy, just the right amount of fruit. They made an egg... More

Instead of putting in my order and serving drinks or food, the bartender was too busy texting. The food was mediocre. Go somewhere else for lunch.

We love coming here during our ski trips to Snowmass. The brisket nachos are fabulous, highly recommend them. Reasonable pitchers of beer with music not blaring like some other Snowmass bars/restaurants.

Good place to go after skiing for a drink and basic food, especially if one wants to avoid the more pricey establishments in Snowmass Village. Time of arrival is crucial, because it gets busy when the lift lines close. All in all the restaurant fulfilled our expectations.

We stopped in on the recommendation of a sales clerk, and she was not wrong. The service was very good, and the food was excellent for a quick bite after a day of skiing.

We had dinner here one evening and when we arrived the place was packed. There was no formal hostess to take your name and let you know when they seat you, instead the lady at the bar offered a drink and let us know a table will be available in about 10 minutes. The place looks like a mom and... More

Fuel up at the Big Hoss before hitting the slopes. Pancakes and coffee are the best in the village. We always stop in at the BH for a big breakfast before our day on the slopes. Coffee is great.

We had burgers tonight, and they were excellent. The buns were good, and the burgers were cooked exactly as we had ordered. The price was right, and the server was competent and efficient.

Great service and great food, what more can one hope for? We ate here several times during our stay as the menu was extensive providing for various American fair. Portion size are large and wholesome. The ribs we ordered fell off the bone and marinated to a tasty BBQ smoky richness. Recommend them! Naturally everything comes with fries so ask... More
