Russell's is a lovely place to have dinner in Vail Village. Our waiter Kent was super friendly, and provided excellent service. Several in our party had the prime rib, and they said it was delicious. I and another member of our party split a ribeye steak; very tasty as well. Kent made sure it was cut in half and that... More

This place is pretty well established, and it fills up after 6 pm. I had the French Onion soup and a spinach salad. That was enough for a meal. Both were very good. I found the prices were reasonable, especially for Vail, Had one cocktail with dinner. Total bill before tip: $31,00. My server was extremely helpful. If they sit... More

Wonderful location, decor, excellent food & service. Next to the covered bridge in Vail, next to Gore Creek. Be sure not to miss this one.

We have dined at Russells on each occasion we've visited Vail Ski Resort, and believe they provide exceptional quality in food & service.

Best place for steak in Vail. Not cheap, but reasonable with a nice atmosphere and good service. Plus, unlike some steakhouses, you actually get a veggie and potato with the meal.

Dinner at Russell's was wonderful. The staff were friendly and attentive (even after we changed the number in our group they were not rattled or visibly annoyed!) The ribeye steaks were perfectly prepared. A fun, relaxing location in the middle of Vail Village. Wonderful

I had the rib eye and it was excellent. I recommend Russell's if you are looking for a good steakhouse.

Not sure I get the other reviewers gripes but I do understand how everyone's experience and expectations can be different depending upon circumstances. For our group of 5 we had a great dinner. Russell's was pretty packed the night that we went during Christmas week. The bar was busy with locals and the dining rooms was full and busy. We... More

We went because it was 50% off and we remembered how great the scalloped potatoes are. Everything we ordered was sub-par. The best thing we had was the french fries that we didn't even realize we were ordering because of their weird name on the menu. The Rib Eye Steak was boring with potatoes and veggies that seemed like an... More

Just across the Covered Bridge in Vail Village is Bridge Street's warm, cozy and oldest steak house - Russell's. We have a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with wonderful Creekside dining. Russell's features dry aged Certified Angus beef, along with delightful fish entrees and world-renowned Alaskan King Crab Legs. One side dish that you can't pass up is our scalloped potatoes - baked with onions, bacon and cheese with a golden brown top. A lot of our staff members have been with us for 20 years or more. Come by and see for yourself why the locals and staff love Russell's. We take great pride in serving premier steaks and seafood in the most enjoyable and accommodating restaurant in Vail. Reservations recommended.
