The whole experience of taking the gondola up to Eagles Nest and then climbing into a snow cat for the trip to Game Creek Club is a blast. The trip back can be especially fun if you drink all your wine. The food is nothing special and it's quite pricey, so just consider the experience as a whole and you... More

Everything about Game Creek was outstanding. Food, ambiance, view, staff, everything. We had a wonderful time riding the gondola up and back and then spending a very relaxing time at the restaurant taking in all that it had to offer. Will most definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. We visited Vail in August and hiked up the Berry Picker trail to this restaurant for brunch. I strongly recommend making a reservation. We arrived just before it opened and were taken to a table under the beautiful sunshine. The restaurant quickly filled up within about 30 minutes. For $45... More

This is so fun and different! You take the gondola from Vail to the top, then get a van to go on a dirt road to a cluster of europeanesque buildings in the middle of nowhere with deer grazing all around you. And long long range mountain views with hawks circling overhead. Entering the restaurant the staff is at the... More

The view....unmatched! The food....excellent! Wine list....terrific! And the staff, headed by the ever present and caring Dave Alt,the best! If the gondola scares you, make other arrangements to get there......it would be well worth the effort.

Sunday brunch on top of the mountain is a real treat!! first the gondola ride up the mountain to the top at Eagles Nest. Then we are picked up by the game creek van and taken to the magnificent club house overlooking the back bowls of Vail. You can eat outside on the deck or inside the dining room. Brunch... More

This is up the gondola and through the woods in a van (arctic cat in winter). Some of the best views I have every experienced. The dinner is a prefix meal. Menu is fit for foodies - not my thing. My wife loved it. Great service, but a little slow. Our group was very happy with their meals and service.... More

Our experience at Game Creek was phenomenal! The view is spectacular but there is so much more to this place... The service was truly exceptional... The sommelier was friendly and very knowledgeable.... He picked out a perfect bottle for us. The servers were on point, could not have asked for better service. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend this... More

Enjoyed the Sunday brunch with family celebrating a birthday. The entire package was extraordinary. Loved taking the gondola to the top of the mountain - then a traverse in a bus...finally arriving on the side of the Oozo ski run to arrive at this Alpine Chateau. LOVE the interior....(please don't ever renovate to "mountain modern") - very cozy and beautiful.... More

Incredible dining experience at Game Creek Restaurant, nestled at 10,300 feet on Vail Mountain. Take the gondola ride up and meet the shuttle to the restaurant where you will be treated to sensational mountain vistas and dine on the Chef's gourmet tasting menu or a delicious Prix Fixe menu or enjoy the simpler deck menu and a beverage. All are... More
