Ordered a combo plate of chicken fried steak and chicken strips, but asked if they could substitute the pot roast for the chicken strips. They went out of their way to make this happen. The food is always presented well, hot when served. Chicken fried steak with just the right amount of crisp, not soggy or greasy. Pot roast tender,... More

Love this place. It's going to be my go to place for chicken fried steak. Delicious. I also had the broccoli rice casserole and it was way better than Cheddars. You also get your choice of bread. I had to sample them all and loved them all. The mash d potatoes were a little lumpy. My son had the catfish.... More

I expect most of you have heard of, or eaten there. I first discovered "The Pea" in Tulsa when I was down there on a job. A co-worker treated me and I was not particularly impressed. We all know most chains are owned by franchisees and are not created equal. Well, that was one of those (many years ago, it... More

If you like homecooking, this is your place to go. Service is fast and friendly, food is hearty and delicious, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Chicken fried chicken is delicious and the sides are good as well. If only I could eat all the food and try desert also, but you won't leave hungry

Consistently poor service with missing items when ordering to go. In addition, the manager put me on hold for over 4 minutes when placing a to go order, so I drove over instead only to find that they weren't busy and he was outside smoking. The food is average, but when the service sucks - go somewhere else. We have... More

Also found that they have an over 60 menu. For 9.49 i got a chicken fried chicken which was pretty big and yummy but also the sides and a beverage. What a bargain. Service was good and we had a good meal and time. Not sure why i have not been there for a while.

Very friendly staffed, food is delicious and heartily portioned at a reasonable price. Very clean and updated compared to other locations. Great family oriented place. Will definitely come back often!

Due to family changes we decided to eat out and were hoping for at least an adequate meal after a long wait, instead we found a busy restaurant with a plan for handling the crowds and to serve them well. Within 2 minutes after the total group arrived we were seated and our drinks ordered. Rather than a single choice... More

My daughter remembers the corn bread being good, so we stopped in for dinner. Big mistake. The food was awful. The corn bread was over-cooked. The service was bad. She brought us the wrong items; not just one item, three wrong items and she even wrote our order down, how does that happen. I would stay away.

STARTED BADLY. We called ahead for a table of 10, but when arrived, the manager claimed we had not called. 45 minutes later, 4 children and 6 hungry adults were famished. SERVICE was very slow and had mistakes. Several FOOD items were bad; baked potato was barely cooked, Kraft Mac and cheese cold and solidified, stuffed mashed potato was unacceptable.... More
