Just waited an hour and 10 min for delivery of cold pizza and wings. Advantage-only delivery in town, however, no longer worth it and too much competition in a close radius.

We've been going to Deep River Pizza for many years and love it. Their crust is not real thin, but is very hearty and tasty. They now deliver within the area. I have never waited more than 20 minutes for my pizza, which I usually order over the phone. Try their pizza. I know you'll like it.

Great food and great prices, they have a couple small tables but mostly for take out and they deliver too! Everyone is really nice and you fell welcome like family, nice small town charm.

If you like Greek pizza, then this is the place for you. Thick, tasty crust with plenty of sauce and fixings. The taco pizza is huge and a bit on the spicy side. Order ahead, very popular spot.

Visited last month, as previously stated the food tasted good. However, it left a lousy feeling in my stomach afterwards just like last time. My co workers also commented likewise. No more for me, sorry.

The food was good. Had a chicken parm sub. However it sat in my stomach for quite some time and had too much of an acid event afterwards. I am however willing to give it another shot.

My wife and I have lived in California since 1974. Even though we escaped the New England weather and Boston Drivers there are a few things that we still miss about the North East. One is the folk music scene, and the other is small pizza/sub shops like Deep River Pizza. They just don't make 'em like this that we've... More

Deep River offers decent Greek Style Pizza for takeout. It isn't Pepe's, Sal's or Modern Pizza of New Haven, but it holds its own among its category. It has consistently increased in cost over the years and suffered proportionately in terms of value, but that may actually have more to do with fiat currency, sock puppet politicians in Hartford, and... Owner and crew make awesome grinders. Love the fine shredded lettuce and the perfect grinder bread. Tuna is awesome and thats my first clue on how the rest of the food usually is. Hats off also to First Selectman Richard "Dick" Smith ( Smitty ) for saving this town.

The sauce is surprisingly tasty for such a hole in the wall place and they are always generous with the toppings. Very friendly service.
