I love their fish and chips also you can eat outside. Also I love the location because I can take my wheelchair from their and take the path to the founder's bridge.
Quaint no frills eatery. We all had sonething different, fish sandwich, jumbo hot dog, double cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and chocolate shakes and they were all AMAZING.
Staying in town I drove by couple times, had to stop in for dinner. I order the seafood platter. It was more the in could east. Batter was the key here, just a great job! Fish, clam strips, shrimp, scallops and fries.
Stop at Mickey's for lunch, gotta have the clam platter. The batter is light and the clams are plentiful. If I'm going thru East Hartford it's Mickey's for lunch.

Mickey's is a part of the times when you could get good food for a decent price. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is that of an old time diner. You can still get 'real shakes and french fries" vs. the fast food restaurants....More
