Chip's always does an outstanding job with breakfast ... been there many times and the pancakes are always light and fluffy and eggs cooked to perfection. Today, Thanksgiving is special. Chip's opens only for Thanksgiving morning, his staff volunteers their time to cook and serve, and all proceeds from the meal go to "Operation Hope" in Fairfield, CT, a food... More

I don't care where in the world you are from, but this place serves an amazing breakfast all day long. If you haven't had the pancakes here, then you haven't had pancakes. I have eaten in a lot of places, but this one has the best pancakes. The only issue I had was with the service, not so much the... More

Stopped in on Sunday for breakfast. Very busy but we were seated quickly. The service is fast and pleasant. GF egg sandwich was fine. The fruit that came with it was bland. The pancakes were a hit with my son. The french toast and eggs were average. The manager was very friendly - thanks for the great service.

During family weekend at our two daughters college we went the last day with a couple of their roommates. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. The service is amazing and the food better. This place is very busy with a big turnover so get there early. The manager gets people in very quickly so the wait is ok.... More

Drove up from Long Island for a college tour. Stopped in early for breakfast. Omelet was cooked well and home fries weren't dry (like how sometimes they can be). Cuppa joe hit the spot. My daughter had Nutella and strawberry waffles that were also very good. Hot chocolate with whipped cream hit the spot. Manager on duty (Adam) was gracious... More

Chip's is a fairly large and popular restaurant, a favorite of many as a breakfast spot. I've been there before and will probably go back but the last time there was very disappointing. Food was tasty and the portions ample sized. I had nor problem there. The problem was with the service. It took ridiculously long before the waitress even... More

There was a line but it didn't take that long for us to be seated with four adults and two kids one Saturday morning. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty, including their famous pancakes. Service was friendly and relatively prompt. Since the grandchildren like it, I'm sure we'll be back.

Dined for lunch today. Ordered a cheeseburger and a pancake kids meal. Was excited to try their famous pancakes. First of all, the service was horrible. When they didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked, I should have known it wasn't going to be good. It was the driest most flavorless burger I ever had, not that anyone came... More

Before I had gone here, people told me how great it was and even that they had the #1 pancakes in all of Connecticut. So you can imagine my high expectations when I finally did go. It wasn't quaint or cute, it was located in a small outlet center. The inside was huge. I didn't realize how big it was... More

Terrific place for breakfast, especially on a Sunday morning, but beware of the long lines at that time. Pancakes are the best with a variety of syrups available. Portions are more than reasonable. Waite service is usually very attentive. Lunches and dinner are average. Their signature dishes are breakfast. Located in a small mall area, there is plenty of parking.... More
