When one eats a very healthy diet is hard to find takeout. The days of drive-through's and quick food is over. Unless of course you were lucky enough to have found Layla!s! Whenever we don't feel like cooking a big meal or we just feel like sitting in a comfortable little takeout place we visit this restaurant. Most of the... More

The food here is very good and fresh. They bake the food daily and serve it fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful if you don't know what to select. There is parking but it can be challenging at diner time. Most take the food home, but there are a few table in case you want to eat there. I... More

Over the last several years I've found myself working in Fairfield county and in the city of Fairfield as well. When you are on the road most days of the week and have to somehow find real nourishing food while at the same time have it be delicious, well it's one of the most difficult things to accomplish. I've always... More

To be able to grab some outstanding Middle Eastern food to take home, just 5 minutes from home is a gift, indeed! We've been eating from Layla's deliciously prepared menu since they opened, and we'll continue to do so...

Good prices for the meal. The falafel sandwich was average size and a bit dry. The tabouli was very good! However, we still like Halal guys in New Haven better.

Great food! Love their schwarma wraps and pita! Small place but has great charm. Owner's brother owns the one in Stamford.

I encourage everyone to go to this place! The food is absolutely delicious and everything is home made (not from a can). The meat is very flavorful, especially lamb. Hummus is finger licking! The owner was very kind and funny, so we felt welcomed. The prices are reasonable (paid around $15 each). Definitely coming back soon!

Yes there is plenty of garlic but Layla's never fails to please. Chicken Shawerma is the best. Fast, efficient service.

Though there are a few tables, I regard this more as fast food/take out. Layla's makes the best falafel sandwich, especially spicy. Also, the hummus is amazing and the homemade pitas are terrific. If you're after a quick bite, this is a wonderful alternative to traditional American fast food.
