Food tasted good but both my daughter and I had terrible vomiting and other ills after eating here. Still not feeling well 18 hours later.

The ambiance is very cool Mexican flavor. The Tres Amigos was good on the steak and chicken side but the shrimp were old and tired. The refried beans and rice worked well. The bartender evaporated for a bit and I had to flag him down for round #2 on the cocktail. He broke rule #1 and never followed up on... More

Having traveled to the Southwest on numerous occasions you become spoiled for the taste of good Southwestern/ Mexican fare. Rancho Viejo is by no means your average fast food Mexican restaurant you'd find in a mall. This place brings the Southwest to life in a truly tasteful way. Everything about it is Mex. The staff was friendly. The portions are... More

I love the tall booths & Mexican decor; as soon as you enter, you feel like you've entered an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is is very good and authentic & the chips arrive warm! Make sure to order the delicious special guacamole. The only item I don't recommend is the seafood; both times I've ordered it, it wasn't fresh;... More

This is real. The owners and staff are Mexican. Friendly is an understatement. The menu is huge and they are happy to customize the dishes. There is Mexican beer on tap; try the Dos Equis lager-crisp and light. Go for the extra large frosted glass. Salsa is homemade, as are the chips. Kids will love the place.

This restaurant has DELICIOUS Mexican. The portions are big too! The ambience is not exciting and it is cold... but that might be because we went in December.

Very limited draft beer selection. They did not have the local on the menu. Fajitas were great. Lots of tortilla chips and salsa.

Visiting family in the area and they suggested here for dinner. We were seated immediately and the menu looked like your typical family run Mexican fare - however, when my Camarones a La Diabla came out I knew I was in for a treat just from the wonderful aroma. The flavor was amazing - definitely spicy, but supremely flavorful. Very... More

You think you're lost when trying to find this restaurant. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza. But we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the margaritas were awesome!! My friends who I went with are from Colorado and they said they hadn't had such good Mexican food since they left there. Turns out the owner... More
