I travel a lot and am often disappointed by the "hotel restaurant." But L'escale is fantastic. The ambience is lovely. The wait staff is welcoming. And the squid ink linguini is the best pasta / seafood dish I've ever tasted. Bon appetit!

This is our favorite spot for (expensive) dining in town. The food is consistently good, service has always been friendly and the outdoor area is great during the warmer seasons. The space is bright and nice, they have a very cozy bar (where you can get the same food as well), and in summer part of the outdoor area turns... More

If you like french food but dread the formality of a fine dining experience, then the bar at L'escale may be attractive to you as it was to us. I can't say that the dining room is very formal or not but the bar is warm inviting and serves the same food. There are a variety of seating arrangements including... More

Everything was just fine but certainly not worth what they're charging. Steak au poivre was just fine and for whatever reason they couldn't do a rare strake. Both steaks were over cooked. The dessert was the lone bright spot but other than that, not worth it. Nothing special. Will not go here pagain. Better dining elsewhere and if you're looking... More

A group of five enjoyed our lunch here during restaurant week. We had a lovely round table which kept conversation going and offered plenty of space for our meals. The Restaurant Week Menu offered three choices each for appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. Waitstaff was helpful without being intrusive. Palmieri appeared on the table at the... More

Always reliable for a quiet business lunch. Delicious food, beautifully presented, excellent service, and perfectly managed table distances to give privacy and control noise volume. Romantic evening setting. Outdoors on the water in nice weather is wonderful as well.

Had breakfast here one morning. Service was awful and food was overpriced. Perhaps smile a little more?

We went for dinner and it was Restaurant Week. They had a lot of great selections including escargot and hanger steak. Deserts were very good also. We ordered a nice Bordeaux to go with dinner. Service was very efficient and polite. The room is very nice but tends to get a little noisy. When the weather is nice you can... More

We went to L'escale for breakfast. L'escale is part of the Delamar where we were staying. My breakfast was excellent and a complete surprise. I ordered the buckwheat crepes which had ham and cheese with two eggs on top with a side order of potato with peppers and onions. The meal was perfect and very tasty. Our table overlooked the...
