Positive: the waitress was nice. Not so good: The restaurant lacks parking and lighting inside. It is dark and gloomy. The food is bland. Prices are high for the quality of food. Would not go back.

I love going to Parilla Y sabores on sat & sun for a late dinner & drinks, If your looking for a place to eat and drink while listening to live music this is it, Prices are good and food is on point. The empanada's they offer are tasty. Betzy Hartford CT

That was my introduction to Colombian Food and it was fantastic! Am going back again. If you order the soup as an appetizer be sure they understand you that it's an appetizer. 😊. You will be too full to to eat your food. The location may not be great, but I will go back to the restaurant

The Hartford Courant had written a favorable review of the restaurant, so we thought it would be worth a try. It is housed in the old "Chalet Ipanema" on Franklin Avenue. The restaurant's decor leaves much to be desired: in fact, we almost didn't go in. We were assigned a booth; the material on my banquette was torn. There were... More

I visit lots of restaurants around the world. The fact is that in order to rate a place you need to understand the purpose of it. Trying to eat quietly in a Latin environment is way not possible. I loved the food and the Latin flavor.

I am not Colombian but I love Colombian food. I visited the restaurant probably once every other month. I liked the lunch menu, the soups are great any day of the week. The Mojarra Frita (fried fish) is awesome. What I don't like is the empanada since every time I tried one is more potato filling than meat but compare... More

The empanadas were freshly made to order and very tasty with lots of shrimp and chicken inside, and served with a nice sauce. Main dishes were ok, not great. Seafood stew had good flavor but too much salt. Meats were overcooked and dry. Arepa was very nice. Tried the house Merlot and Cabernet by the glass, drinkable, but not particularly... More

The exotic fruit juices were yummy. We ordered 3 dishes and liked all of them. We will definitely go back next time around.

I am Colombian and the food is very authentic. Very delicious and you get a lot of food per portion so go hungry. Try the typical Colombian dish called Bandeja Montanera.
